Along with iced lattes, we chose three pastries from the counter: the Apple Soboro Tart, the Pistachio Pain au Chocolat, and the Dubai Tree Brownie Tart. Among them, the Dubai Tree Brownie Tart was easily the standout — rich, nutty, and festive without being overly sweet.
The tart was filled generously with a layered combination of kadaif, pistachio, and chocolate, creating a chewy, crunchy, and melt-in-your-mouth texture. It felt expensive at first glance, priced at 9,200 KRW (~$7.00 USD), but the portion and ingredients made it feel justified once you took a bite.
The Apple Soboro Tart had a soft crumble top with a hint of cinnamon, while the Pistachio Pain au Chocolat leaned buttery with a roasted pistachio glaze.
