🖤 The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket Review

The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket (Black, M) has become one of the most iconic winter pieces — especially after Jennie from BLACKPINK wore it in her Sydney vlog. I first discovered this exact jacket through that video, and the cozy teddy texture instantly caught my attention. It looked warm, stylish, and surprisingly effortless, which made it almost impossible not to want one.

Back then, this jacket was extremely popular, and tracking down the black version was quite difficult.
Most stores were sold out, and resale prices went up due to high demand.
Luckily, I was eventually able to purchase the Black (M) version — and I ended up liking it so much that I bought the white color as well.
I’ll review that one right after this post 🤍

In Korea, the Black Sherpa Nuptse Jacket was even more expensive than the white one, likely due to its popularity linked to Jennie’s influence and the overall scarcity during the season.

✨Material & Feel

The material of The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket is what makes it special.
The outer layer has a thick and fuzzy sherpa texture, while the inside is lined with smooth polyester.
The combination feels soft and warm without causing shedding or leaving lint on other clothes, which makes it surprisingly easy to maintain for daily wear.

On a petite frame, the jacket can look slightly puffy, but in a cute and winter-appropriate way.
It adds volume in the right places and creates an effortless “cozy teddy” look, perfect for cold weather walks or casual café days.

💨 Windproof Details

One of the most useful features of The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket is the adjustable drawstring at the hem.
You can tighten it to block out chilly wind on colder days, which makes a noticeable difference when you’re outdoors.
I tested it during a riverside trip, and it genuinely helped trap warmth inside while keeping the wind out — surprisingly effective for such a fluffy-looking jacket.

🌉 Casual Day Out with The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket

Even though The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket looks thick and fluffy on the outside, it feels surprisingly lightweight when moving around.
I wore it during a casual walk near a riverside bridge, and it didn’t feel heavy or stuffy at all — which was a pleasant surprise for a sherpa-style winter jacket.

From the photos, you can clearly see how the jacket fits around the shoulders and arms: slightly oversized, cozy, and perfect for layering over thicker sweaters. The sherpa texture also looks extra plush under natural light, giving the jacket a luxurious yet effortless vibe.

This is what I love most about The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket — it’s not just a trendy outerwear piece, but something that makes you feel wrapped in a warm cloud while still looking cute and photo-ready for winter outings.

🖤 The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket – Full Outfit Look

Wearing The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket in black during a riverside walk, showing plush fleece texture and relaxed winter outfit styling

This photo was taken during a chilly afternoon walk along the riverside. The sunlight hit The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket just right, making the sherpa fleece texture look even softer. I love how the material reflects light — it creates a warm winter glow that makes photos feel calm and effortlessly cozy.

Even though the jacket looks quite puffy at first glance, it feels surprisingly light and easy to move in. You can see how it naturally falls around the waist, creating a relaxed yet stylish silhouette. I paired it with gray pants and boots for a simple “winter stroll” outfit that felt comfortable without sacrificing style.

What I appreciate most about The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket is the balance between warmth and breathability. It keeps me warm enough for outdoor walks without causing overheating, which is rare for sherpa-style pieces. It genuinely feels like being wrapped in a soft blanket while still looking cute and put-together for winter days.

🐻🌟 Honest Thoughts & Fit Check (Petite-Friendly)

When these photos were taken, I was around 58 kg, while I’m currently about 53 kg at 157 cm — so you may notice a slight difference in how The North Face Sherpa Nuptse Jacket fits compared to some of my previous The North Face reviews.
The jacket has a naturally bulky and cozy silhouette, but that’s exactly what makes it cute and perfect for winter styling.

Despite the sherpa texture and volume, the fit feels surprisingly comfortable for petite frames.
The slightly oversized cut makes it easy to layer sweaters underneath without feeling restricted, which is ideal for colder days.
