I recently visited Cafe Root Gangnam, a charming cafe located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam.
The exterior looks like a hidden European cafe with a stunning wooden entrance, making it feel like a secret spot you only find if you’re paying attention.
I had seen their desserts online and couldn’t wait to try them myself 😌

As soon as I stepped inside, the calm and peaceful atmosphere made me want to stay longer.

One thing I loved about Cafe Root Gangnam is the book display corner.

Such a small detail, but it adds a fun and cozy vibe to the space. I couldn’t stop smiling every time I looked at them 😂

I’m usually not a big scone person, but this one completely changed my mind.
Freshly baked, warm, and slightly crispy outside — soft and airy inside.
They also offer three types of banana pudding, one of their most popular desserts.
I visited around 5 PM and it was already sold out 😭 Next time, I’m definitely coming earlier to try it!
The cream served with the scone has a banana pudding flavor. Strawberry jam makes each bite even better 🤤💗
🧊 Iced Vanilla Latte — Just Sweet Enough
I ordered an iced vanilla latte, and it was mild, smooth, and not too sweet — which made it a perfect pairing with the scone.
The ice stayed solid for a long time, keeping the drink refreshing until the last sip 🧊☕
