My Experience at Jeju Cafe Costeño

The entrance of Jeju Cafe Costeño immediately sets the tone for the entire experience.
With tall palm trees framing the bright white facade and rugged concrete textures, the café feels both tropical and modern from the very first glance.
It’s the kind of exterior that makes you stop and take a photo before even stepping inside
— clean, striking, and perfectly matched with Jeju’s coastal atmosphere.

This single view already tells you what the café is all about: sunshine, open air, and a unique island mood that you don’t find in typical city cafés.
It’s no exaggeration to say that this entrance alone makes the visit feel special.

Tropical Ocean View at Jeju Cafe Costeño

This was one of my favorite views at Jeju Cafe Costeño — tall palm trees standing against the soft blue of Jeju’s ocean.
The scene feels almost unreal, like a quiet beach somewhere far away, yet it’s right in Gujwa.
Sitting here with the sea breeze and warm sunlight made the entire café experience even more peaceful.
It’s the kind of moment you want to pause and remember: calm waves, open sky, and the gentle rustling of palm leaves.

Outdoor Seating and Minimal Concrete Design

The outdoor area of Jeju Cafe Costeño has this relaxed, open atmosphere that feels perfect for slow travel.
The combination of natural palm trees, clean concrete walls, and simple green chairs creates a modern resort-like mood.
It’s quiet, spacious, and ideal for enjoying a drink while soaking in the warm Jeju sunshine.
I loved how this space made me feel unrushed — just comfortable, peaceful, and fully present.

Spacious Interior Filled With Light and Minimal Design

The inside of Jeju Cafe Costeño is just as beautiful as its exterior.
The high ceilings, raw concrete walls, and large windows create a modern and minimal atmosphere that feels open and calming.
I loved how the natural light poured in through the tall glass panels, brightening the space while framing the soft Jeju landscape outside.

The seating layout is wide and comfortable, offering plenty of room even during busier times.
Whether you want to read, relax, or simply enjoy the stillness of Jeju, the interior gives you a quiet moment to breathe.
It’s a peaceful contrast to the tropical exterior — modern, thoughtful, and beautifully designed.

Rooftop Bar Seating With a Wide Jeju Horizon

The rooftop at Jeju Cafe Costeño is one of the calmest spots in the entire café.
With tall bar stools lined neatly against the open sky, the space feels incredibly free and expansive.
The uninterrupted view of Jeju’s horizon makes this rooftop perfect for taking a break, sipping a drink slowly, or simply enjoying the quiet breeze.
It’s the type of peaceful rooftop you rarely find in crowded city cafés — just endless blue sky and soft coastal air.

What I Ordered — Rich, Cold Iced Chocolate

For my drink, I ordered iced chocolate — and it was so much better than I expected.
The flavor was rich, smooth, and sweet in a very comforting way.
The presentation was also cute, served with a small cup of milk so you can adjust the taste to your liking.

Drinking it outdoors while looking at the ocean made it even more perfect.
It felt like the ideal combination for a warm Jeju afternoon: sunlight, fresh air, and something cold and chocolatey.

If you’re exploring the eastern side of Jeju or planning a cozy café itinerary,
here are two more places I genuinely enjoyed on my previous trips:

🌴 One and Only Jeju Café (Sanbangsan View)

🐷 Jeju Black Pork Cutlet at Sehwa·Hado Beach (Saljingo)

Both spots gave me memorable experiences, and they fit perfectly if you’re building a relaxing Jeju travel route with beautiful views and good food.
