<p class="has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Euljiro oyster bossam and kalguksu</strong> is served at <em>Incheon Jip</em>, a long-running local restaurant located on the <strong>second floor</strong> of a small building in Euljiro. <br>I visited this place years ago, but after it was featured on <strong>Sung Si-kyung’s YouTube channel</strong>, it became even more famous among locals and food lovers.</p>

<p class="has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph">The interior feels old-school and authentic, with handwritten autographs covering the walls. One thing to note: the <strong>stairs are quite steep</strong>, so be careful when going up. Once you’re inside, the atmosphere already tells you this is a place loved for decades.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex">

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="466" height="466" data-id="1614" src="https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_09.jpg" alt="Euljiro oyster bossam with fresh oysters and kimchi at Incheon Jip" class="wp-image-1614" srcset="https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_09.jpg 466w, https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_09-300x300.jpg 300w, https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_09-150x150.jpg 150w" sizes="(max-width: 466px) 100vw, 466px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p class="has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph">This <strong>Euljiro oyster bossam and kalguksu</strong> set comes with a generous portion of sliced pork and fresh oysters served on top of well-fermented kimchi. <br>The pork is <strong>clean and tender</strong>, without any strong smell, making it easy to enjoy even for first-time bossam eaters.</p>

<p class="has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph">What really stood out was the combination. The oysters were <strong>aromatic and incredibly fresh</strong>, with zero fishy taste. The kimchi had a deep, savory flavor, and hidden inside was slightly sweet <strong>seasoned dried radish</strong>, adding a nice umami kick. Even though I usually avoid raw garlic, pairing the bossam with <strong>fresh garlic</strong> surprisingly worked perfectly and enhanced the overall flavor.</p>

<p class="has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph">For those who don’t eat oysters, you can also order <strong>bossam without oysters</strong>, which makes this place friendly for different preferences.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-regular-font-size">Bossam with Raw Garlic – A True Korean Food Experience</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full is-resized"><img decoding="async" width="966" height="966" src="https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_05.jpg" alt="Bossam pork with kimchi and raw garlic at Euljiro oyster bossam restaurant" class="wp-image-1615" style="width:700px" srcset="https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_05.jpg 966w, https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_05-300x300.jpg 300w, https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_05-150x150.jpg 150w, https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_05-768x768.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 966px) 100vw, 966px" /></figure>

<p class="has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Eating <strong>Euljiro oyster bossam and kalguksu</strong> with raw garlic might sound intimidating to some foreigners, but it’s absolutely worth trying at least once. <br>The sharpness of the garlic cuts through the richness of the pork and kimchi, creating a bold and addictive flavor.</p>

<p class="has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Surprisingly, the pork here is so clean and mild that even with raw garlic, the bite feels well-balanced rather than overwhelming. If you’re looking for a <strong>true Korean food experience</strong>, this combination is something I’d strongly recommend—especially for adventurous eaters who want to taste Korean cuisine beyond the basics.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-regular-font-size">Huge Portion Clam Kalguksu – Light Broth but Very Filling</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full is-resized"><img decoding="async" width="466" height="466" src="https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_03.jpg" alt="Large bowl of clam kalguksu with fresh clams and handmade noodles in Euljiro" class="wp-image-1616" style="width:700px" srcset="https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_03.jpg 466w, https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_03-300x300.jpg 300w, https://0ddungs.kr/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/KakaoTalk_20220529_143937556_03-150x150.jpg 150w" sizes="(max-width: 466px) 100vw, 466px" /></figure>

<p class="has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph">The <strong>clam kalguksu</strong> at this <strong>Euljiro oyster bossam and kalguksu</strong> spot comes in an <strong>unexpectedly huge portion</strong>. The bowl is packed with fresh clams, thick handmade noodles, and green onions, making it more than enough to share. Despite the generous amount, the broth stays <strong>clear, light, and comforting</strong>, which pairs perfectly with the rich bossam. We ordered <strong>two bowls for four people</strong>, and still couldn’t finish everything. <br>If you’re planning to eat bossam first, keep the portion size in mind—it’s seriously filling. <br>Another nice touch is that when you order kalguksu, they serve a <strong>different style of kimchi</strong>, slightly more fermented and ideal for noodle dishes.<br><br>If the waiting time here is too long, I recommend <strong>Sonjeong Bossam</strong>, another well-known bossam restaurant located about a <strong>10-minute walk</strong> away. <br>It’s a great alternative in the Jongno–Euljiro area and popular for its classic bossam style.<br>👉 <strong>Sonjeong Bossam review:</strong> <a href="https://0ddungs.kr/best-jongno-bossam-restaurant-sonjeong-bossam/">https://0ddungs.kr/best-jongno-bossam-restaurant-sonjeong-bossam/</a></p>
