Hanok Outdoor Dining in Ikseondong
Goundon is tucked inside Ikseondong’s hanok alley, with outdoor seating that gives the meal a relaxed, local atmosphere. The traditional surroundings made it a fun place to enjoy Korean BBQ while experiencing the character of the neighborhood.
Fresh Korean BBQ Sides and Vegetables
The pork belly came with fresh lettuce, minari, green onions, garlic, kimchi, and dipping sauces. I loved wrapping the grilled pork with the fresh vegetables for a classic Korean BBQ bite.
Charcoal-Grilled Pork Belly at Goundon
The thick pieces of pork belly were grilled right at the table until nicely browned. Watching the samgyeopsal cook made the meal even more tempting before we started eating.
Ikseondong Samgyeopsal Grilled with Kimchi and Minari
Ikseondong Samgyeopsal at Goundon came sizzling with kimchi, green onions, and fresh minari on the grill. The juicy pork belly paired especially well with the flavorful vegetables and kimchi.
