Silla Sikdang Daegu is one of the most famous local restaurants in Daegu. Even though I visited close to opening time, there were already many customers waiting for their meals. The restaurant has been loved by locals for years and continues to attract both residents and visitors.

The signature menu at Silla Sikdang Daegu is the stone plate stir-fried octopus. The portion was surprisingly generous, and the spicy sauce had a deep, rich flavor. The octopus was tender and chewy, making it the perfect dish to enjoy with a bowl of steamed rice.
Rich Seafood Tofu Stew
The seafood tofu stew was packed with seafood and soft tofu. The broth was rich, savory, and slightly spicy, making it an excellent companion to the stir-fried octopus. Since the octopus was a little spicy for me, I found myself enjoying this warm stew throughout the meal.
